Shoot Me Now 2011

Shoot Me Now 2011

I’m in France at the moment, preparing to take part in Shoot Me Now, a live mobile film event created by Virtuo (Auckland | Strasbourg | Helsinki) and MINA (New Zealand) for the Le Jour Le Plus Court festival to be held on 21 December, 2011.

Anyone with a smart phone and a wifi or 3G connection can take part in Shoot Me Now, just go > HERE < follow the simple instructions & register your project.

You don’t have to be in France to take part in Shoot Me Now. Your live short film can be made anywhere and can be about anything, but it must be made in one-take and streamed live on 21 December. We encourage you to experiment with your mobile phone, to play with time, duration, light, mis en scene… be creative, be experimental, have fun!

Films will be shown on www.http://shootmenow2011.wordpress.com/ LIVE as they are made. Watch the Twitter feed @shootmenow2011 for the latest updates on the project.

Hope to see some live shorts from NZ soon!
